Marindustrial now representing Ford power products
 Feb. 3, 2012 - Marindustrial Ontario is proud to be the new Ford Industrial distributor for engines, parts and service, including solutions for high-priced, Tier 4 diesel engines. Marindustrial offers the full line of Ford emission-certified (U.S. EPA and Environment Canada) gasoline, natural gas, LP-fueled and dual fuel Ford industrial engines. The Ford line features the four-cylinder (1.6 and 2.3 liter), six-cylinder (3.7 liter) and 10-cylinder (6.8 liter) models ranging from 20 to 225 horsepower.
Sany and Putzmeister merge
Feb. 2, 2012 – Putzmeister and Sany Heavy Industry have announced
the signing of an agreement on the merger of both companies. Sany,
together with the Chinese private equity company CITIC PE Advisors, acquires 100 per cent
of Putzmeister. Both
parties agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
Finning buys Bucyrus assets
Feb. 1, 2012 - Finning International is bulking up its position in the mining industry with the acquisition of the distribution and support businesses of former Bucyrus International from Caterpillar for US$465 million. The company issued a joint announcement with Caterpillar which said it would take control of the support business formerly operated by Bucyrus in South America, the U.K., and Western Canada.
